Updated for 2025. Additions include extensive anchorage and campsite updates.  An ongoing intention is to make this a comprehensive visual locator for potential anchorage locations across the BC coast. 

About this series: This is a new Wild Coast flagship product that packages 12 mapsheets to enable transit of the British Columbia coast from Washington State to Smith Inlet in the Central BC Coast in a single bundle. The included mapsheets are uniformly scaled with a contiguous/overlapping format to allow seamless planning of your Inside Passage transit through south British Columbia to the south end of the Central Coast. The mapsheets are single sided and attached by removable clips that allow for individual sheets to be used or the entire selection to be used as a booklet. The mapsheets are packaged rolled, so before use, reverse the direction of the roll to flatten the mapsheets. 

This collection is hand-assembled and printed on demand as an exclusive/premium product. 

Use it for:

• Marine travel from south Vancouver Island and the Washington State border to the Central British Columbia coast at Smith Inlet.
• Trip planning and logistics. Perfect for desktops or chart tables. If you prefer a folded option for easier storage, please see our #500 mapsheet bundle. 
• Augment electronic navigation with coastal overviews.
• Easily calculate distances using the UTM 1km grid lines found on all mapsheets.
• Camping. Kayakers and canoeists will find a detailed inventory of coastal camping locations throughout the mapsheets updated for 2025 as well as strategic rest areas/beaches for land access when needed.
• Anchorages. This series includes the most comprehensive list of anchorages currently available. The selection is constantly being refined and locations added or removed as we cruise the coast aboard the Wild Coast Publishing office MV Wild Coast. Note that locations are suggestions only and do not include textual support or descriptions, and locations may not be suitable in certain conditions or for certain vessels. They are recommended as starting points to research locations. Additional knowledge is recommended before deciding on an anchorage location.
• This series replaces marine charts for on-water orientation when not needed for technical/motorized vessel navigation. Since depth soundings are not included on these mapsheets, correctly scaled marine charts should be used when electronic navigation is not available.  
• Printed on heavy synthetic paper to withstand the toughest conditions.
• The series is loosely bound to allow booklet or individual use/viewing and shipped in a protective mailing tube. Please note: All mapsheets are single-sided only for optimal table-top use. The #500 series covers the same area but in folded, double-sided mapsheets.

Combining with Deck Toppers: These mapsheets can be used in combination with the Deck Topper series to fill in the vast majority of the southern British Columbia coast in greater detail. Use the Inside Passage series for the larger overview necessary for a transit, and use the Deck Toppers to explore destinations of choice with a more detailed scaling.
