Victory VLR .166 Fletched Hunting Arrows are built for bowhunters looking for a fast, flat-shooting micro-diameter arrow engineered to minimize wind drift, maximize penetration and maintain accuracy at longer distances. The VLR combines a .166" micro-diameter profile with Victory's advanced 1.5K MaxxKe carbon weave technology for a strong, aerodynamic hunting-arrow platform.
The VLR features a 90° 1.5K carbon weave engineered for reduced torque, faster arrow recovery and uniform spine consistency. Every arrow is digitally spine aligned, weight matched to ±0.5 grains per dozen, ICE coated and hand fletched. Choose Elite / V1 ±.001", Gamer / V3 ±.003" or Sport / V6 ±.006" and select the appropriate 250–400 spine for your bow setup.
Please Note: These are factory-fletched finished hunting arrows, not bare shafts. Broadheads and field points are not included. Fletching colours may vary depending on factory production.
Victory VLR arrows are available in three precision grades. Choose your preferred straightness grade and then select the appropriate spine for your bow and finished hunting-arrow configuration.
| Victory Grade | Straightness |
|---|---|
| Elite / V1 | ±.001" |
| Gamer / V3 | ±.003" |
| Sport / V6 | ±.006" |
| Spine | GPI | Full Shaft Length | Shaft ID | Shaft OD |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 250 | 10.5 | 31" | .166" | .248" |
| 300 | 9.0 | 31" | .166" | .238" |
| 350 | 8.2 | 31" | .166" | .233" |
| 400 | 7.7 | 31" | .166" | .229" |
Proper arrow spine depends on your complete bow setup, including draw weight, draw length, bow speed, finished arrow length, broadhead or point weight and component weight.
Elite / V1 provides the tightest straightness tolerance in the VLR lineup at ±.001". It is designed for bowhunters looking for the highest available straightness specification within the VLR family.
V1 combines its premium straightness tolerance with the same .166" micro-diameter platform, 1.5K MaxxKe carbon construction, digital spine alignment, ICE coating and factory-fletched configuration.
Gamer / V3 provides a ±.003" straightness tolerance while retaining the VLR's core technologies and micro-diameter construction.
It offers an excellent balance of precision and value for serious bowhunters looking for the speed, penetration and wind-cutting characteristics of the VLR platform.
Sport / V6 provides a ±.006" straightness tolerance while retaining the fundamental VLR construction and performance technologies.
It provides an accessible entry into the VLR platform while maintaining 1.5K MaxxKe carbon construction, digital spine alignment, ICE coating and factory fletching.
The VLR uses Victory's advanced 1.5K MaxxKe carbon weave technology, engineered to reduce unwanted torque and torsional movement as the arrow leaves the bow.
Reducing this movement helps the arrow recover more quickly during the initial stages of flight while supporting uniform spine consistency.
The result is a hunting-arrow platform designed around speed, fast recovery, flat trajectory and consistent downrange flight.
The VLR incorporates Victory's distinctive 90° carbon weave pattern.
The weave architecture works with the 1.5K MaxxKe construction to provide the structural characteristics Victory engineered into the VLR hunting-arrow platform.
The 90° carbon weave pattern is a trademark of Mitsubishi Chemical America, Inc., Sporting Goods Division dba Victory Archery.
The VLR uses Victory's .166" micro-diameter platform. The narrow profile exposes less shaft surface to crosswinds than larger-diameter arrows, helping reduce wind drift as shooting distance increases.
This aerodynamic profile is particularly valuable for western and mountain hunting where longer shooting distances and changing wind conditions may be encountered.
The VLR is engineered around very low resistance, combining a narrow .166" profile with lightweight high-performance carbon construction.
Its 1.5K MaxxKe architecture helps the shaft recover quickly after launch while its relatively light GPI options help support fast arrow speeds and a flatter trajectory.
This makes the VLR an appealing choice for hunters looking to combine micro-diameter penetration with speed and longer-range trajectory performance.
The narrow .166" shaft profile follows closely behind the broadhead, creating a streamlined path through the target.
Combined with the VLR's carbon construction and SHOK TL front-end component system, the result is a hunting-arrow platform designed for efficient penetration while maintaining speed and accuracy.
Each VLR arrow includes a 50-grain SHOK TL aluminum insert manufactured from 7075 aluminum alloy.
The SHOK Taper Lock design incorporates an impact-protection sleeve around the front of the carbon shaft, helping strengthen the arrow tip and increase impact resilience and durability.
Taper-lock machining is designed to improve strength and concentricity while providing a secure connection between the micro-diameter arrow and broadhead.
The VLR's SHOK TL component system gives bowhunters flexibility when building a higher front-of-centre, or FOC, hunting-arrow configuration.
The included 50-grain aluminum insert provides additional front-end mass, while optional 75-grain and 95-grain SHOK TL components allow even more weight to be concentrated toward the front of the arrow.
This allows hunters to balance speed, total arrow weight, FOC, trajectory and penetration around their individual bow and hunting requirements.
The SHOK TL adaptor accepts standard 5/16" broadheads with an 8-32 thread, allowing the VLR to work with a broad selection of conventional hunting broadheads.
The included 50-grain aluminum component provides a versatile starting point, while optional heavier SHOK TL components provide additional opportunities to increase front-end weight and FOC.
Each VLR arrow includes an 8-grain IP4 .166 nock designed for Victory's micro-diameter platform.
The lightweight nock complements the narrow carbon shaft while providing a consistent rear component for the finished hunting arrow.
Every VLR arrow in this 6-pack is supplied factory fletched with AAE Max Stealth vanes.
Victory hand fletches its finished arrows for optimum vane adhesion and alignment, giving hunters a professionally prepared arrow without requiring separate vane installation.
Fletching colours may vary depending on factory production.
Every VLR arrow is digitally spine aligned to promote increased accuracy and shot-to-shot consistency.
Consistent spine orientation helps reduce arrow-to-arrow variation and provides a uniform foundation when tuning and broadhead testing a matched set of hunting arrows.
Victory weight matches each dozen VLR arrows to approximately ±0.5 grains.
Closely matched arrow weights help minimize unnecessary variation and support more consistent trajectory and grouping.
The VLR features Victory's ICE nano-ceramic coating, creating a slick exterior surface on the carbon arrow.
The coating is designed to improve penetration while also helping make arrows easier to remove from targets during practice, sight-in and tuning sessions.
These optional heavier components provide additional front-end mass for hunters looking to increase total arrow weight or FOC.
Optional components are sold separately and are not included with this 6-pack.
The Victory VLR is built for bowhunters looking for a fast, flat-shooting factory-fletched micro-diameter hunting arrow capable of performing in demanding hunting conditions.
The .166" micro-diameter profile helps reduce wind exposure, while Victory's 1.5K MaxxKe carbon weave is designed to reduce unwanted torque, accelerate arrow recovery and promote uniform spine consistency.
Choose Elite / V1 ±.001" for the tightest straightness tolerance, Gamer / V3 ±.003" for a balance of precision and value, or Sport / V6 ±.006" for an accessible entry into the VLR platform.
The included 50-grain SHOK TL aluminum inserts provide a durable front-end system with excellent FOC potential, while the included 8-grain IP4 .166 nocks complete the rear of the arrow.
With factory-installed AAE Max Stealth vanes, the VLR 6-pack provides a professionally prepared hunting-arrow platform designed around speed, flat trajectory, reduced wind drift, penetration and long-range consistency.
