Victory HLR .204 Hunting Arrow Shafts are high-performance small-diameter carbon shafts engineered to deliver a balanced combination of speed, power, durability and long-range accuracy. Built around Victory's .204" platform, the HLR reduces the shaft profile exposed to crosswinds while providing the penetration and durability required for demanding hunting conditions.
High-modulus carbon construction combines with 1.5K MaxxKe carbon weave technology and a 90° carbon weave pattern to create a fast, stable hunting shaft designed for quick recovery in flight and a flat trajectory. Add digital spine alignment, ±0.5-grain dozen weight matching, ICE nano-ceramic coating and an included 50-grain stainless-steel SHOK insert, and the HLR becomes a versatile platform for serious hunting-arrow builds.
Please Note: These are unfletched arrow shafts, not complete ready-to-shoot arrows. They require appropriate cutting, insert installation and fletching before use as finished arrows.
Victory HLR shafts are available in three straightness grades and six spine options, giving bowhunters the ability to select both the precision grade and dynamic spine appropriate for their bow and finished arrow configuration.
| Victory Grade | Straightness |
|---|---|
| Elite / V1 | ±.001" |
| Gamer / V3 | ±.003" |
| Sport / V6 | ±.006" |
| Spine | GPI | Full Shaft Length | Shaft ID | Shaft OD |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 200 | 9.8 | 31" | .204" | .271" |
| 250 | 8.7 | 31" | .204" | .265" |
| 300 | 8.1 | 31" | .204" | .261" |
| 350 | 7.3 | 31" | .204" | .256" |
| 400 | 6.9 | 31" | .204" | .254" |
| 500 | 6.5 | 31" | .204" | .251" |
Elite / V1 provides the tightest straightness tolerance offered for the HLR at ±.001", making it the premium precision grade in the lineup.
Gamer / V3 provides a ±.003" straightness tolerance and offers an intermediate option between the Elite / V1 and Sport / V6 grades.
Sport / V6 provides a ±.006" straightness tolerance while retaining the HLR's small-diameter construction, carbon technology and other core performance features.
Proper arrow spine depends on your complete bow setup, including draw weight, draw length, bow speed, finished shaft length, point or broadhead weight and insert weight. Select spine according to your complete finished-arrow configuration.
The HLR uses Victory's .204" small-diameter platform to reduce the amount of shaft surface exposed to crosswinds. Less wind exposure can help reduce lateral deflection and improve downrange consistency when hunting in changing conditions.
The narrow shaft profile also supports penetration by reducing the diameter of the carbon shaft travelling behind the broadhead, making the HLR a strong platform for hunters seeking both speed and penetration.
The HLR combines a high-modulus carbon structure with 1.5K MaxxKe carbon weave technology. This construction is engineered around quick arrow recovery, consistent spine behaviour and efficient long-range flight.
Reducing unwanted shaft movement after launch allows the arrow to stabilize quickly, helping support the HLR's combination of speed and long-range accuracy.
The HLR incorporates a distinctive 90° carbon weave pattern into its carbon construction.
This woven structure complements the high-modulus carbon core and gives the HLR its combination of lightweight performance, strength and durability for demanding hunting applications.
HLR stands for a hunting-arrow platform built around long-range performance. Its combination of relatively low shaft weight, .204" diameter and advanced carbon construction is designed to produce high velocity and a flat trajectory.
A flatter trajectory can reduce the amount of elevation correction required as distance increases, while the small shaft diameter helps reduce the effects of crosswinds.
For western hunting, mountain hunting and other situations where shot distances and wind conditions can vary significantly, those characteristics provide a versatile foundation for a precision hunting-arrow build.
Each HLR shaft includes a 50-grain stainless-steel SHOK insert, adding substantial front-end strength and weight to the finished arrow.
The SHOK system incorporates an impact-protection sleeve designed to reinforce the front of the carbon shaft and increase impact resilience and durability.
The 50-grain stainless-steel construction also adds front-end mass to help increase FOC and penetration while maintaining the HLR's speed-oriented shaft design.
The HLR's SHOK system can be combined with compatible Victory .204 back weights, allowing arrow builders to fine-tune front-of-centre balance without replacing the entire insert system.
This gives bowhunters additional control over finished arrow weight, FOC and broadhead flight while retaining the HLR shaft's fundamental speed and long-range characteristics.
Each HLR shaft includes a 9-grain AAE .204 nock sized for the small-diameter shaft platform.
With the 50-grain stainless-steel SHOK inserts and AAE nocks supplied with the dozen, you receive the primary front and rear components required before cutting, assembling and fletching your custom hunting arrows.
The SHOK system accepts standard 5/16" broadheads with an 8-32 thread, allowing the HLR to be paired with a broad selection of conventional hunting broadheads.
The impact-protection sleeve helps reinforce the carbon at the front of the arrow, while taper-lock machining is designed to improve strength and component concentricity.
Every HLR shaft is digitally spine aligned to promote increased accuracy and shot-to-shot consistency.
Consistent spine orientation provides a more uniform foundation when cutting, fletching, tuning and broadhead testing a matched set of hunting arrows.
Each dozen HLR shafts is weight matched to ±0.5 grains.
Closely matched shaft weights reduce unnecessary variation throughout the dozen and provide a consistent starting point when building arrows to a specific finished weight and balance.
Victory applies its ICE nano-ceramic coating to the HLR shaft surface.
The slick coating is designed to improve penetration while also making arrows easier to remove from targets during practice, sight-in and tuning sessions.
Because these HLR shafts are supplied unfletched, bowhunters and arrow builders can customize finished shaft length, vane configuration, broadhead choice and front-end weight around the intended hunting application.
Choose between Elite / V1, Gamer / V3 and Sport / V6 straightness grades and select from 200, 250, 300, 350, 400 or 500 spine.
From there, the included 50-grain stainless-steel SHOK system and optional Victory components provide additional flexibility for balancing speed, finished arrow weight, FOC, broadhead flight and penetration.
Optional components are not included with this 12-pack unless otherwise specified.
The Victory HLR fills an important position between an ultralight speed shaft and a heavier penetration-focused hunting arrow. It is engineered to provide a balance of speed, strength, durability and long-range accuracy.
Its .204" small-diameter construction helps reduce wind exposure, while high-modulus carbon and 1.5K MaxxKe carbon weave technology provide a lightweight, durable platform designed for fast recovery and flat trajectory.
Victory adds digital spine alignment and ±0.5-grain dozen weight matching to provide a consistent foundation for building and tuning a matched set of hunting arrows.
The included 50-grain stainless-steel SHOK insert provides a strong front-end component with additional mass for FOC and penetration, while compatibility with Victory back weights allows further tuning.
With three straightness grades and six spine options from 200 through 500, the HLR can be configured for a wide range of compound-bow and hunting-arrow setups.
The pack includes 12 Victory HLR .204 carbon shafts, 12 50-grain stainless-steel SHOK inserts and 12 9-grain AAE .204 nocks.
