AR-Series Compact: Steambow recommends CQ 35 lb or standard 55 lb limbs for the Compact platform's faster shooting cycle.

Important Arrow Weight Requirements

90 lb limbs: Use arrows weighing at least 155 grains.

120 lb and 150 lb limbs: Using arrows lighter than 178 grains can damage the limb tips, limb or crossbow.

Manufacturer exception: Steambow states that these arrow-weight minimums do not apply to the M10 Tactical and other crossbows equipped with string dampeners. Always follow the instructions for your exact crossbow and limb combination.

Understanding Performance Ratings

Steambow's minimum FPS figures are measured using its 6.2 x 162 mm aluminum practice arrows weighing 142 grains, an original string in good condition, 65 mm brace height and at least 150 mm power stroke on the Stinger II main body. Nominal draw weights may vary slightly. Published performance test conditions are not a recommendation to use 142-grain arrows with every limb.
