The Blue Winged Olive (B.W.O.) is a classic dry fly that we've found to be most useful in the in the early to mid-morning. Hatching in very large numbers makes fishing with the B.W.O. very exciting. While tough to see particularly on medium to fast water, we like to estimate where the fly is based upon where it landed and set the hook anytime there is a rise in that area.
