Here in Edmonton, Alberta we have had the most success fishing the Beadhead Woolly Bugger Olive in the stocked trout ponds during the early season months. We've found this fishing fly most effective when imitating a leech with slow 3-4 inch strips and long pauses. When using a floating line with our tapered leader make sure to give this fly some time to sink before the retrieve.
